This is really hard to choose and I'm pretty much just tossing a coin here but I will go with the Lynx cause of the better sound.

This one is a bit different because its 2 very different versions of the same game, which one is the best?

Why do people keep saying much lower res? There is barely any difference in resolution  :-

Purely going on the video footage shown here, Game Gear version looked sharper to my Mk.1 eyeballs, not that Lynx ver.was poor, just tad more pixelated.

Anyone know what Res.the 2 versions run at? (For Technobuff's who are reading.... :-)  )

Guess those extra pixels really do make a difference at times.

Onto Ninja Gaiden then-Not keen on the G.Gear version, visually, looks bit workman like.

Lynx version however looks superb, nice detail on background, lovely animation on sprites etc.

Yeah I like the Lynx version of Ninja Gaiden much better. It looks like a 16 bit game with the detail and animation compared to the very basic looking Game Gear version.

Another win for the Lynx, as far as I'm concerned.  :)

Ninja Gaiden on the Lynx was AWESOME!  I haven't played it since the early 90s, but I remember it very well after spending hours playing it.  It's the winner here by a country mile.

I don't remember it being particularly slow  ???  Or having any gameplay slow down like seems to happen in the vid.

It doesn't, Darran is playing it on emulation

Well, the only thing these games have in common is that they were inspired by the same movie!  Regardless I'm going with the Lynx version.  It has larger sprites and Batman has more to do than just throw batarangs.

The guy playing the Lynx version looks just like me playing it... meaning getting hit by dynamite every 2 seconds! I have to say I find the Lynx game very frustrating but having never played the Game Gear version I can't compare game play so I'm just going by the look of the game. For that I pick the Lynx.

Lynx version, played it to death as a Lynx owner, very tough, often frustrating, but lovely big sprites, really helped capture the comic book feel i felt.

Also nice to see Lynx getting it's own shot at the licencse.
